In March 1851, Harriet Galpin, aged 22, was a teacher living with her mother near Hardington Parsonage.

 Harriet was born at Yetminster in about 1826, the daughter of William and Harriet Galpin.

In June 1841, she lived with her mother at Leigh. Her father died in April 1842, aged 44.

Harriet died at Hardington in February 1854, aged about 28.[1]
