Birth
Thomas, the son of Thomas and Mary Greenham, was born at West Chinnock on 10 December 1786.
Marriage
On 7 February 1815, Thomas married Eunice Hutchings at Shepton Beauchamp.
Although she was married at Shepton Beauchamp, Eunice was the daughter of Job and Mary Hutchings of Barrington.
Hardington
By 1819, Thomas was a farmer at Hardington. He died at Hardington in July 1828, aged 41 and was laid to rest at West Chinnock.
Eunice’s later life
In 1840, Eunice married James Farrow, a farmer of Huish Episcopi whose first wife died the previous year, leaving him with four young children still at home.
The 1841 census recorded James’s occupation as a farmer, the 1851 census as a farmer and innkeeper, the 1861 census as a farmer of 12 acres and the 1871 census as a farmer of 7 acres.
Eunice died in 1874, aged 83. James died in August 1879, aged 85.
Children
Thomas and Eunice had two children: Anna, born in about 1819, who died at Stocklinch Magdalen in December 1839, aged 20, and John, who died in infancy in September 1828. Anna was laid to rest at Barrington with her maternal grandparents, and John at West Chinnock with his father.
